A Feminist is not a man-hater as many assume. A man-hater may certainly be a Feminist, but a Feminist is not always a man-hater. Assuming that the man-hating is a key feature of Feminism is like saying that all dogs have spots because Dalmatians are dogs and they have spots.

I'm not a housewife. I'm not a stay at home mom. I'm not a work at home mom... Do I belong here?
Of course, as long as you respect the members of the community who do stay/work at home and do not criticize them for their choice.

I don't really think of myself as a Feminist. Do I belong here?
Feminism is sometimes referred to as the second 'f' word There's a famous quote that might help you make sense of things:

I appreciate the right to help choose my government representatives. I enjoy the option of wearing pants or shorts if I want. I'm pleased that I was allowed to learn to read and write. It can be very convenient to control how many babies I want to have. It's awfully useful to be able to open a bank account and own property in my name. I like knowing that my husband or boyfriend cannot legally beat me. It's really swell to keep the money that I earn. - One Angry Girl

I'm male. Do I belong here?
If you agree that a woman has the right to choose her own path and that focusing on domestic responsibilities is a valid choice that is equal to that of, say, a career, then welcome in! If you don't agree with this, there are actually lots of sites out there for you. This site was created due to the lack of a community for Feminists on a more domestic career path.

Why do you capitalize the 'f' in Feminism/Feminist and the 'H' in Housewife? They're not proper nouns!
Maybe they should be. I capitalize them simply to highlight that the Feminism/Feminist part of each woman visiting is just as important as the Housewife part and vice versa. If you can think of a better way to do it, please let me know!
